Eclogue Response #3
One poem that stood out the most to me and what i could relate to is "Engine". My understanding of this poem is that he was stuck and couldn't leave, even though he wanted to. How i could relate to this poem is that sometimes we all feel like we are trapped in certain situations and cant get out of them. He uses imagery in this poem by saying a face scatters in a mirror so you get a image of a broken person.
Eclogue Response #2
I've also noticed, since he has traveled around a lot of places that most of his poetry talks about the birds, landscapes, and different places such as Nigeria in the poeam "The Counsel of Birds".

One thing that you notice as soon as you read Ed Roberson's poetry is the spacing of his words. Instead of putting commas he uses spaces to identify the pauses.
