"Don't I just look pretty in pink"
Well sure, but everyone always likes them tall dark and handsome
"I wouldn't say everyone, most would prefer me"
Why would you say such a thing?
"Why wouldn't I, my usage is so fancy"
Look at it this way, when people mess up I'm more sufficient, you on the other hand cant satisfy people problems
"True, i still look better though"
So confident... shh you hear that?
"Yes, they are coming, it's a lot of them"
Good luck on getting picked today!
1+1=2
"Awww I didn't know that was the subject today"
Tall dark and handsome wins, so sit over there, be cute and unheard.
"That's what I'm always told to do, as if my voice doesn't matter"
Quite frankly in this room it doesn't
"Where is the justice?"
Don't beat yourself up about it take a look around, we both are being replaced by that!
"(Gasp) What is that?"
I don't know but it sure has a radiance of the sun
"It's beautiful, should we introduce ourselves?"
It might crush us
"Oh don't be so drastic, hello over there"
It's not responding back
"Maybe it's shy, you think it has a name?"
Everything has a name
"Ask for it's name"
Maybe we should go closer to it
"You just said it might crush us"
Well i guess you don't want to find out it's name
"OK OK, I think i see something"
What is it?
" I see D.E.L.L"
What does that mean?
"I thought you was suppose to be the smart one"
Well in this situation I'm not
"I think his name is DELL"
OK well call it out and see if it respond
"DELL!!!"
-sohw ereht?
What did it say?
-sorry, who's there?
"ha, I got it to respond"
Yea, so what
"you have to admit I can be cute, smart and know just as much as you, it's bout time you treat me equal!"
I guess you made a point

Toscano's Reading
The Toscano reading was very interesting, I think it would be a lot more easier to watch and read what's going on, because a lot of times i was lost and had no idea what they were saying or talking about. So I get a different understanding when i read it by myself, read it and hear it, and just watch and listen to it. My favorite reading was the one when they kept saying scrolling, pointing, clicking, selecting.

Eclogue Response #3
One poem that stood out the most to me and what i could relate to is "Engine". My understanding of this poem is that he was stuck and couldn't leave, even though he wanted to. How i could relate to this poem is that sometimes we all feel like we are trapped in certain situations and cant get out of them. He uses imagery in this poem by saying a face scatters in a mirror so you get a image of a broken person.
Eclogue Response #2
I've also noticed, since he has traveled around a lot of places that most of his poetry talks about the birds, landscapes, and different places such as Nigeria in the poeam "The Counsel of Birds".
Eclogue Response #1
One thing that you notice as soon as you read Ed Roberson's poetry is the spacing of his words. Instead of putting commas he uses spaces to identify the pauses.

My Points
While reading writing down the bones,
I came upon a point that i never really paid attention to which, was when you're writing there are things you should consider such as your pen or pencil even your notebook. Never thought those things mattered but it makes since to have a pencil that can keeps up with your thoughts. She also mentioned how when your writing your emotions come out. I can related to this because when something truly hurts or upsets me, I take my diary and write down my feelings at that moment and I find myself crying either while writing or after i reread what i have wrote. Writing as a practice was interesting to because like Goldberg students I thought that once you got it you had it and wasn't no need for practice. I realized that writing was just like dancing and art. The reasons we stretch before we do our routines and in art why we make sketches before our final piece. Practice indeeds makes perfect!

Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are we not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
